Link from to a commit within a comment?

Is there a shortcut to creating a link, within a code review comment, to a given commit? I'd like to be able to write something like, "Merged in [commit link]", where the commit link points to the commit page within Upsource. Wondering if I can do this without pasting the whole URL, which includes the Upsource server name.

Thanks!

Yes, just put in a commit hash, it should be transferred into a link.

Thanks, Artem, that works for Git commits by pasting the Git hash. What about SVN commits (still have an SVN repo in use...).

Don't have an SVN repo at hand to check this, bit mostly sure that specifying SVM commit id should work here.

Have you tried it?

HI Artem

no, just adding the revision ID within the text does not create a link. For revision 10779, for example, none of the following create a link

  • link to 10779
  • link to r10779
  • link to #10779

Thanks

Patrick

+1 for this, us poor Subversion users feel like second-class citizens sometimes.
