VCS refresh API

Is it possible to force VCS check using API?

And second question. I'm using hub+youtrack+upsource.
When I trying to create upsource service from project wizard, I'm getting error message "Request message is not initialized. com.jetbrains.upsource.frontend.server.rpc.generated.CreateProjectForProjectWizardRequestDTO". Upsource 2.5.4934, Hub 1.0.739, Project Wizard 1.0.526

Hi Dmitry,

Just out of curiosity, what goal you are trying to achieve with this force update? Upsource has configurable check interval that might be configured up to 1 second.. Does it work for you?

Anyway you can force VCS update with the following URL        /~vcs/upsourceProjectId

As for Hub/Upsource/Porject Wizard integration and the error you are getting, it's a known bug in project wizard (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PW-227) which is already fixed. Nearest Hub update should help in this case. In meanwhile please create Upsource project via Upsource UI.

Yes, 1 sec can help but cpu time waste. So I want to call this API method from git hook.

For me the refresh URL does not work. A few hours ago our Upsource 2.5.4995 installation on Linux stopped refreshing VCS content. I have restarted Upsource, but to no avail. What can I do in order to fix this? What kind of info can I provide in order to help you diagnose the problem?

Hi Alexander,

Looks like your issue is not about refresh link rather then fetching repository content in general.

Please open a ticket here  https://upsource-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=66702 and attach full logs folder from Upsource directory, it will speedup the process.
