upsource-analyzer not starting in Windows Server 2012 R2

Hello,

I have installed Upsource in a Windows Server 2012 R2 ( Windows Azure). We have the 3 first services start and it hangs on the upsource-analyzer service. We followed the pre-req page instructions. We are running on default port. No Proxy. I attached thelogs folder.


Any ideas?

Issue you're experiencing is related to database that Upsource is using - Apache Cassandra. We've recently found some floating problems with Cassandra on Windows and currently investigating it.

For now we can only recommend you to install Upsource on any of the following OS:

  • Mac OS X 10.7 or later
  • Linux (based on our knowledge, any 64-bit distribution should do

We've encountered similar problems.  Do you have any idea as to when Windows is likely to be supported again?

We are working with Cassnadra team to provide a fix asap, but I cannot give any estimates yet. As soon as we find a fix we'll let you know.
