only first user is notified by email on comments

Hy,
I'm creating a comment like this:

@UserA @UserB please review this

Only UserA is getting an email as notification to the comment.

After inverting the user list in the comment:

@UserB @UserA please make tests

only UserB is getting an email notification.

Did I took a wrong syntax or it this a bug?
I want that both (multiple) users are getting an email notification.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

Syntax looks good and bug is not confirmed in our environment.

Could you please make a screenshot of one of the comment you described? Also we would need the entire contents of upsource-frontend folder from logs directory.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, seems that I not described it this morning.

When creating a new comment, the user is proposed like UserA.
This user is getting an email also when appending a different user.

After removing this user and adding a different, no email is send.
After removing this user and addning himself again, the mail is send.

It seems that mails are only send to the first user and also only to the user which is first proposed on the comment popup.

Please find attached an example:

comment_popup.PNG

The user "Faber André" is getting an email. The user "Schuller Tom" is not getting an email.
Also checked the logs, which displays only a MailNotifiction to user "Faber André".

The users are filled up automatically with the user-search window.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

Thanks for the detailed description.

Confirmed, it's a bug (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/UP-4555) Second mentioned user is not getting notifications.

If it happens in the review context, you may add such "second" user to the review watchers and only then leave a comment, it should help.

Please watch the issue for the further fixes.

Sorry for that inconvenience.
