Upsource cannot pull from repo

Trying to add one of the repos to upsource, after about a minute I'm getting a red error message:

Test VCS connection failed.
null

In the logs I can see (private info redacted):

2016-04-01 22:02:21,709] * RPC: [Queued: 0] testVcsConnection:{"vcsSettings":{"vcs":"git","url":"ssh://...@.../...","authMethod":"SSH key","login":"","mapping":"","client":"","svnBranches":"","id":"mytest"}}, Users:{admin}

Pulling from the repo with the same key and URL works:

# git clone ssh://...@.../...

Resolving deltas: 100% (1408/1408), done.
Checking connectivity... done.

Any ideas what is it or how to investigate it ?

Hi Vitaly,

Upsource uses jgit lib to connect to git repos.

So if you have some custom settings specified for git connections you also need to specify them for Upsource (e.g proxy server) through:

\Upsource_home_dir\conf\upsource-analyzer\upsource-analyzer.jvmoptions file.

Btw, did you try to clone repo under the same user account?

No special settings for this connection, just URL and private key.

It was the same account.

Hi Vitaly,

Sorry for putting it off.

Did you have any progress in investigating that?

If not, please open a support request and attach Upsource logs. We'll try our best to solve the issue.

Thank you.
