Code intelligence project root directory

Does code intelligence work properly if you have source code structure such that you may have one or more applications in different directories?

I know there's a "Project root directory" field that can be set, but if you set that say to 'src/js', then does that impact how code intelligence works with anything outside that directory (eg. if you had a src/dotnet directory and wanted to import R# code inspection data for that folder too).

Alternatively, if you had /src/js/app1 and /src/js/app2? From my initial trials, it doesn't seem like UpSource recurses the directory tree looking for package.json etc.
