I am trying to index a P4 repository that is stored on Assembla, but the indexing has been running for a week and it's still hasn't finished. We have a 300Mbps internet connection and the machine our Upsource (Hub and YouTrack aswell) is hosted on isn't the best but has the following specs:
- i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
- 2 x 8GB PC3-12800 (800 MHz)
- 2GB GeForce GTX 650 Ti
- C:\ - 250GB Western Digital HDD - Windows
- D:\ - 1TB Crucial SSD - Hub/Upsource/YouTrack
The whole P4 depot is about 90GB but I've setup (I believe correctly) the p4 mapping to only look at two sub folders which sit at about 30GB.
The machine is constantly downloading and writing data into \Upsource\data\cassandra\data\ and commit logs into \Upsource\data\cassanda\commitlog\. The commit log files are being written out at about 1GB/minute split into 32MB files. Is this normal?
I can't seen anything abnormal in any of the log files so I don't believe it's erroring. Is there anything I can turn on to give me more information or an idea as to how far through the indexing it is?
