new install - Upsource won't start with external hub

This is a new install.  After extracting the upsource zip, I set the base_url and port, then start the service.  I log in go through the initial configuration settings where I choose an external hub (which is already running and I'm logged into).  Once finished I get this page:

Upsource Configurator      running     Open
Apache Cassandra     starting
Upsource Cluster Initialize Service     ready to start
Upsource Frontend     ready to start

And there it sits.  Apache won't ever start.  The cassandra-stderr.log is full of these errors:

[2019-10-18 12:38:42,751] ================================================================ (start)

For the first 2 errors, I updated ./temp/cassandra/cassandra.yaml as it requests and those went away.  Now I get these:

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert
